A popular attraction for all ages is the Aquarium of Western Australia.

Here you’ll find a number of sea creatures in an educational and fun environment.

The aquarium has a moving footpath that lets you see the sharks, stingrays and turtles beneath. There is also a touch pool that allows the children to stroke starfish, cucumbers and port sharks.

For an extra charge, qualified SCUBA divers and snorkelers can enjoy a close-up with sea creatures such as rays, sharks and turtles. There is also a seasonal program, the reefwalker, for children over age of 12 which enables them to enter the coral reef and learn basic scuba diving.
